We are delighted to share that Tennent Street Care Home has successfully raised an incredible £1,458 in support of NIPANC (Northern Ireland Pancreatic Cancer) and our team of cyclists who recently took part in the Pedal the Periphery challenge over the weekend of 5th June 2026.
In a fantastic show of teamwork and community spirit, staff and supporters from Tennent Street Care Home completed a sponsored walk from Tennent Street Care Home to Abbeylands Care Home and back again. Their dedication and enthusiasm have made a meaningful contribution to this very important cause.
A special mention must also go to our remarkable resident Patricia, who played her part by completing her own walk around the grounds of home. Her participation was truly inspiring and reflects the spirit of generosity and support shared across our care community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took part, donated, and supported this initiative. The funds raised will help NIPANC continue its vital work supporting individuals and families affected by pancreatic cancer.
