Beaumont Care is celebrating a series of prestigious awards and nominations recognising the dedication of its staff and the positive working environments created across its homes.

The organisation has been named one of the UK’s Best Places to Work in the 2026 Florence Awards. In addition to the wider group recognition, Tennent Street, Manor View and Parkview have each received individual Best Places to Work awards.

The Florence Awards are based on direct feedback from care professionals after completing their shifts. During 2026, Florence collected feedback from more than one million shifts across approximately 2,000 social care providers.

Feedback from permanent employees, staff bank members and agency workers was used to assess the experience provided by care groups and individual homes. Beaumont Care’s success therefore reflects the views of the people working within its services.

The awards recognise employers that go above and beyond to create a welcoming, supportive and rewarding experience for frontline staff. Receiving recognition at both group and individual home level is a significant achievement for everyone across Beaumont Care.

There is further reason to celebrate, with six Beaumont Care finalists named in the upcoming Heart of Peninsula Awards.

At Carnalea Care Home, Gail Shaw has been shortlisted for HCA of the Year, while Carnalea is also a finalist in the Nursing Home of the Year category.

Croagh Patrick is represented by Gregg Reid, who has been shortlisted for Admin of the Year. The home has also been named as a finalist for Nursing Home of the Year.

At Beechill, Patricia Moreland is a finalist for Admin of the Year, while Amantle Botlhe Leshage has been shortlisted for Nurse of the Year.

The nominations recognise excellence across a wide range of roles and highlight the contribution made by care, nursing, administrative and management teams throughout the organisation.

Ruth Burrows, Managing Director of Beaumont Care, said:

“We are extremely proud to see Beaumont Care, three of our homes and individual members of staff receive this recognition.

“The Florence Award is particularly meaningful because it is based on feedback from people who have worked within our homes. Creating a positive and supportive environment for our staff is extremely important to us, and this recognition reflects the hard work and commitment of teams across Beaumont Care.

“We are equally proud of our Heart of Peninsula Awards finalists. These nominations recognise the dedication, professionalism and compassion they demonstrate every day. We wish all our finalists the very best for the awards ceremony.”

The Heart of Peninsula Awards ceremony will take place at La Mon Hotel on 2 October 2026, when colleagues from across Beaumont Care will come together to celebrate and support the finalists.

Everyone at Beaumont Care congratulates the teams at Tennent Street, Manor View and Parkview on their Florence Best Places to Work awards, as well as Gail, Gregg, Patricia, Amantle and the teams at Carnalea and Croagh Patrick on their Peninsula Awards nominations.
